Lightspeed is already famous for the sort of creative design it comprises. The design includes a deep-sea blue theme identifying the company’s logo mixing well with the coal-black shade of the mouse. However, the competitor, our very own G Pro approves the minimalist notion, and this gets reflected from its pretty ordinary design with no extra splendor in the form of huge buttons.

Another distinguishing feature available within both of them is the presence of a notched wheel within G Pro, whereas G502 Lightspeed surprises the clientèle with the reserve of freewheel and the essential one to have a better control power.

In addition to the freewheel, a thumb rest support is also present in Lightspeed as a part of the original design lacking in G Pro. All these buttons cost a lot to Lightspeed, making it a heavy mouse 173g weight. On the other hand, G Pro only weighs 117g which is next to the bare minimum.

Both of the wireless mice are rechargeable in nature, along with the presence of a charge activation switch.

A total of 12 mechanical buttons are the specificity of Lightspeed, which isn’t that bad, exceeding the 8 mechanical buttons of G Pro. Out of the 12 emerging buttons, 3 take up their role as the side buttons. The side buttons feature enhanced in G Pro with the presence of 4 side buttons. But even this feature doesn’t remain successful in taking up the authority from Lightspeed. This beast rules with 21 programmable inputs as compared to the 15 programmable inputs of G Pro.

Both of these small variants possess the essential Profile switching and CPI(DPI) switching buttons alongside micro-USB port in both.

The compulsory HERO 25K is the power making up their sensors which has gone a long way to renovation. The features now are improved than ever, giving the latency rate of 10ms with wired set up in Lightspeed compared to the 9ms of G Pro.

Apart from their sensors, we get to find Lightspeed’s CPI(DPI) rate is the same as that of the competitor G Pro ending at a 25,600CPI rate.

Logitech G Hub is the face of innovation with compatibility. So, feel relaxed right when you get it because you will not find a device that lacks multi-compatibility. Your mouse, either one of them, is equally compatible with Windows and macOS.

Lightspeed gets a significant distinction from the G Pro mate by setting an elevation mark at its price. This elevation within price sets it up within the premium ranged device and makes the other drift away more towards a mediocre side. The difference occurs in terms of a few bucks that are not payable in G Pro compared to Lightspeed.

Logitech G502 Lightspeed Wireless is the newcomer who has won the race by a significant margin. The success is because of the design, which is state of the art. The sensor has become more sensitive than ever, which is a good sign for the development of a wireless mouse. We get to find Logitech G Pro Wireless repeating similar features but in a way that lacks the grandeur of Lightspeed.
